Gnome's Attack Deghwahr

The Gnomes, sitting between the Deghwahr borders and the Cervaria Empire borders, felt an increase of pressure as trade routes were being cut off. With little to survive on, the gnomes made an attempt to gain more ground for their nation by attacking the kingdom of Deghwahr.

The Gnomes, sitting between the Deghwahr borders and the Cervaria Empire borders, felt an increase of pressure as trade routes were being cut off. With little to survive on, the gnomes made an attempt to gain more ground for their nation by attacking the kingdom of Deghwahr (easier target and more spread out). As the gnomes ransacked the border towns, and collapsed several of the important mining veins, the Cervaria empire contacted King Deghwahr and alerted him to these events (as it was in their mutual interest to stop this attack). Soon after, the Gnomes retreated with what they could gather and sought out ways to thwart a counterattack. Realizing how futile it would be, a peace treaty was made between Cervaria and the Gnomes, putting the Gnomes under the protection of the Cervaria Empire.
