Speech given at the Academy of Astral Annomolies and Abberations

"Ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to announce a major breakthrough in our research here at the Academy of Astral Annomolies and Abberations. As many of you are aware, we have long been studying the properties and potential of aethercite, a rare and powerful magical substance with a wide range of applications.   Our team has recently made an exciting discovery - a naturally occurring source of aethercite within the scales of dragons, specifically within the scales inner linings! This is a truly groundbreaking development, and has the potential to revolutionize our understanding of this powerful substance and it's place within the natural world.   But before I go further, I simply must also take a moment to thank our benefactor, respected guest, and ally of the people, Counsellor Vincent, for his invaluable support and the wealth of data they has donated to our research efforts. Without his contribution, this discovery would not have been possible.   Can we get a round of applause for Counsellor Vincent?   This discovery has the potential to transform our understanding of aethercite, and to open up new possibilities for its use and application. More importantly, it will help to keep the floating city of Brudenia afloat for the foreseeable future. We have long relied on the magical energy of dragons to maintain the city's elevation, and this new source of aethercite will allow us to continue to do so in a more sustainable and ethical manner.   I am confident that this discovery will have a significant impact on our research and development efforts here at the Academy, and that it will contribute to the advancement of magic and technology in our world.
