The Ten Gods

The origin of the world as told by Sight's Rise:

The nameless Gods that created the world. They were inexperienced in running a world worth living in, and because of that the people that worshipped them eventually rise up and through a magical technology lost to the modern Humane overthrew them.     But during the war the world as they knew it was being constantly under attack by the powers of the gods and of the humans with their magic. Whole continents started to become barren warlands littered by the aftermath of the war raging. Eventually whole continents destroyed, returning to the sea.   The whole world started to collapse into the sea and nearly destroyed itself until One Blind Eye, the last god to fall used the last of their remaining power to keep the land back together. They ran around the world, gathering the remaining land and left a single continent before falling into the ocean's depths.   And the world started all over again, from the the evolution that came from the sea once more. Because they believed to have evolved from the sea, the believers of Sight's Rise find it just one more reason that they are all from One Blind Eye.   The Humane that don't believe in the myth often groan as its brought up as a story for their children or recited on the streets by Sight's Rise members, believing it to be a waste of words.
