Excerpt from A Religious Text

On The Ahsi Philosophy "All is met through one"

Purpose

There are rumors that the full text of this ancient document lies, still legible, deep within the libraries of LänanCian. For regulatory and perservational purposes, no non-authorized access is allowed to the room which is claimed to contain the documents, so no one from outside Cianlis has ever been able to verify the documents actually exist. The purpose of this religious text as a whole has been lost over time, though it stands to reason it works the same as most other religious texts of the nature, as some sort of treatise on how to act in accordance with the belief system.

Ahsi scholars, generally considered to be experts within the field of Ahsi religious studies (logically), speculate that the document may have originally been created as a means of capturing the Ahsi language in a written form for the first time, as it is said the original documents use extremely archaic spellings and words, some of which cannot be verified as to an actual meaning any longer.

Historical Details

History

It is believed in ancient times, {recorded in Ahsi records as CT or CiilTian, time before Space--the time before Ahsi spaceflight was achieved}, the Ahsi had a collection of religious writings and teachings supposedly left to them by the Goddesses themselves that explained the purpose of much the Ahsi did not understand. Many stories survive from those times, preserved into new mediums as time went on. One elusive document remains, however. The "Book of Cí" as it is referred to now. For unknown reasons, only small sections of the Book of Cí were translated into new media forms over time and even fewer translated into languages of other races. The main one being the document in question, the so called "Treatise of Needs".
