  I was a child. Not a particularly happy one. There were not many points of light in my life until I met the person who would become my mentor.
  It was a little different for them. They didn’t intend to raise me, it was more about using my brain, which, we have to admit, is formidable.
  Their name was Curio, and they found me when I was small. They saved me, but sometimes I wondered if it would have been better not to be saved.
  It began in a marketplace. I had learned Mage Hand and was using it to steal. Curio caught me stealing from their stall. First, I thought I was gonna get ganked. Then they offered me a job.
