Session 012: Skipping Town

We start with the North Wind as they come down from the aftermath of their mostly-successful murder. They spend a hot second conversing with Oswin Shoreditch, who seems somewhat put out that the group is considering skipping town without helping to take down the Ringed Roses. However, he supports them in their decision. Noticing movement in the winter temple, Mohr and Talasea sneak in the backdoor and take a look around, finding only some family pictures and neat beds. Coming back around to the front, they go in the front door and meet Pashak, a priest of the Winter Goddess and more specifically the Star-Eyed One. Pashak nervously tells speaks with Mohr and Tal about the fighting noises they observed and the subsequent murder-adjacent convo they heard from Mohr and co. Although Talasea is invisible for the whole exchange, Pashak speaks to him normally. Deciding that the priest isn’t a threat, Mohr and Tal rejoin the group outside to ultimately decide to go ahead and skip town.   The journey southward is mostly uneventful, save for a run-in with some cockatrices. And even some magical birds fade to the background as the party arrives, hide intact, ends loose, and priorities more or less in order, at the foot of Felimandoo.
