Session 011: Murder Corner

General Summary

We start with the North Wind as they decide where they're going to post up while they wait to do a murder, eventually deciding to bed down in the murder corner they've scoped out between two temples. Curling up on the magically enlargened bedroll Zenith provides, they settle down to get their rest and most of them even manage to get it.   Jack dreams of a deep voice. But he doesn't talk about it.   In the morning they set their plan in motion, to lure Duan to the murder corner, to bring the Ringed Roses down upon him, and to bring the Raywalkers in their wake. Jack sets out with Aphid to complete the very first step and least discussed element of their plan: getting Duan to the murder corner.   Of course, this goes less smoothly than intended and Jack finds himself facing a skeptical Duan that has little interest in murder corners. Good thing a convincing argument crawls out of Jack's throat of its own volition to save the day...right?   Aphid hastily messages both the folks at the murder corner and the Grit and the Grind to let them know the change in plans: Jack is heading towards the murder corner with Duan, but they're bringing a backup band of Raywalkers and Duan is fully aware this is a trap. They get one minute in which Duan will be solo, thinking he has Jack as backup.   Things happen quickly after that. Duan goes down fast and hard, bringing the back up Raywalkers running in early. The Grit and Grind bring the Ringed Roses soon after, unsure of the timing with the change in plans. There is some hasty storytelling from Jack, some hiding behind temples, and a careful, stealthy exit through an Autumnal sanctuary, the line occupant watching you pass curiously.   By the time the group meets Oswin at the center of the three temples, two of the Raywalkers have escaped and the Ringed Roses have left in pursuit. And that's the end of it, mission accomplished.    Right?
