The Motherheart is a mythical structure, said to be the heart of
Ulaa. The stories say that its roots spread throughout
the springlands, bringing life and nutrients to all of the things that grow within its borders.
It is real, of course, but most Springish folk treat it as a folktale. And
the Verdant Quarter likes it that way. Much easier to protect something that not everyone believes is real, after all.
