Notable Citizens

  Alustriel
Female Human. A legendary figure to her beloved community in Silverymoon, Alustriel served as the High Mage in Silverymoon for more than a century and a half and is known across the Sword Coast as one of the most celebrated leaders in the region's history. In addition to her leadership capabilities, Alustriel was also known as a powerful wizard and a Chosen of Mystra. Alustriel also made a name for herself as a powerful warrior when she led an army alongside her sister during the War of the Black Horde and then singlehandedly defeated Ethenfrost, a fellow spellcaster who had tried to usurp the role of High Mage during her time at war. While it is believed Alustriel passed away following the Spellplague, rumors of Alustriel being sighted across Faerun are anything but novel.   Taern "Thunderspells" Hornblade
Human Male. A tall, grey bearded man carries an air of thoughtfulness and shows an aversion to conflict whenever possible. Tearn served as the High Mage subsequent to Alustriel and despite the impossibly grand shoes to fill, generally governed with an even hand and favorable rapport with Silverymoon's citizens. in 1487, Taern stepped down as the High Mage, though he continues to serve as the representative for Silverymoon in the Lord's Alliance.   Methrammar Aerasumé
Half-elf Male. Son of Alustriel. Prior to accepting the position of High Lord following Taern Hornblade's resignation, Methrammar served Silverymoon as the High Marshall, overseeing the variety of martial forces defending the city. While Lord Aerasumé's impatience for bureaucracy makes him a less than ideal choice for dealing with aspects of his role like the Lord's Alliance, his generally soft-spoken, humble, and forthright honest disposition has made him a natural choice for hearing the plights of his subjects and serving their needs accordingly. Even though he no longer serves in active duty, Lord Aerasumé still wields Swiftflight, a magical bow gifted to him by his half-brother Tyresia.  

Northbank Vendors

  Hemec Wyvernbrow
Dwarf Male. Proprietor of Adbar Trading Coster. While not originally from Silverymoon, he has called the city home for more than thirty years and prides himself on being able to give directions to anywhere in the city from memory. Due to the costs of importing his goods from Citadel Adbar, Hemec cannot compete with other merchants on basic goods and so his wares specialize on dwarven-crafted goods which set themselves apart from other vendors of the region.   Roryk and Delgrath
Human Males. Proprietors of the Wyrmworks. These two retired adventurers are equally excited to share their own exploits as they are to hear the stories of their customers. These lifelong friends are known to frequent taverns in hopes of meeting new adventures and learning new intel about the dragons and wyrms of the area, often offering rounds of drinks in exchange for enticing tales. Delgrath wears a short grey-hair and carries a midriff swelling with the diet and lifestyle of a retired adventurer. While Roryk's most notable feature is a vertical scar across his left-eye, he too keeps a snow-white mustache and a growing gut from the shift from dragonslayer to shopkeeper.   Heliosturr Optym
Human Male. Proprietor of Optym's Blade. Specializing in masterwork axes, Optym's offerings are known to be some of the finest made weapons in Silverymoon and beyond. He is also known to be an expert knife-thrower and his shopfront is filled with targets of varying sizes and shapes where the master blacksmith is known to practice while customers consider his wares.   Xara Tantlor
Elf Female. Proprietor of The Shining Scroll. Xara's familiar frequently keeps an eye on the shop while Xara spends a great deal of her time in the basement working on writing new spell scrolls or casting spells or rituals as a service to customers. When the shop is closed, Xara is known to wander the Market for high quality parchment or drinking at Sorlar's Smiling Satyr.   Belinda Heavensbow
Human Female. A previous member of the Knight of Silver and close friend of Aleina Brightlance, Belinda retired from service to help operate her father's fletching and archery shop in the Market.   Taeren Heavensbow
Human Male. Father of Belinda and Merilla and operator of long-established fletching shop in the Market of Silverymoon. Though losing his vision, he is able to still craft incredibly fine arrows while his children take care of other aspects of the business and daily life.   Merilla Heavensbow
Human Female. A young girl who has just discovered her spark for sorcery, she enchants arrows for her father's market stall in hopes of one day being able to attend the Conclave and become a Spellguard like her passed mother.   Nevil Tathtard
Human Male. A young, stout man with curly hair and rosy cheeks, Nevil is a skilled carpenter and furniture craftsmen with a prominent stall in the Market. When he isn't working, he can be found drinking at the Stagstand alongside many of the hunters and fellers of the city, keeping an ear to the ground about new supply or business opportunities.   Barvon
Halfling Male. Frequent cook at the Stagstand, Barvon takes full advantage of his loyal customer's supply of fresh meat to make simple, but expertly executed dishes much to their enjoyment. In addition, he takes advantage of his post as a means to learn of ongoings around the Northbank and news of the Moon Wood as a member of the Harpers.      

Mielikki's Glade

  Jerlan Zylleth
Dark Elf Male. While his husband serves among the tomes of the Vault of the Sages, Jerlan spends his days performing rituals and services in Mielikki's Glade. Having spent his youth in the literal and emotional darkness of Menzoberranzan, Jerlan finds the natural forest within Silverymoon to be a wonderful respite and the shade from the massive circle of Shadowtops provides the Drow sufficient protection from the sunlight, allowing him to partake in the daily observances to the Forest Queen without risk of harm.  

Conclave of Silverymoon

    Esklindrar
Human Male. Master of the House at the Map House. While his appearance is that of a wiry, perhaps even feeble white haired and frail man, Esklidrar is surprisingly nimble and mobile for a man of his age. This relatively impressive dexterity is only rivaled by the depth and range of Esklidrar's knowledge and memory. It is said Esklidrar can remember every book and scroll he's ever encountered, where he encountered, and what it looked like. Esklidrar is also a well known ally to the Harpers though he is not himself a member of the organization.   Sarena Wellow
Human Female. A gifted illustrator and cartographer in the employment of the Map House. When maps require updating or duplicates or custom maps are commissioned, she is often the one set to the task of producing such works. She is diligent and dutiful, but resentful of impatience and being rushed in her work.   Threnden Burrowstone
Dwarf Male. A clerk in the Map House. Has a special love of mining and extraction maps and has produced a number of his own original works which are included in the archives in Silverymoon. Originally from the dwarven community in Sundabar, Threnden escaped the devastation of the surface city by being present in Silverymoon giving a lecture regarding his research. While Threnden misses home, he has not returned given the chance of still lingering threat.   Fathran Zylleth
Elf Male. A clerk at the assistance desk of the Vault of the Sages, Fathran's passion and specialty is studying the natural magic which connects the material plane and the fae. When not at his desk, Fathran can often be found among the Moonwood wearing a bright orange cloak so as to not be mistaken by the hunters who roam the woods in search of Silverymoon's next meals.   Brother Calwern
Human Male. A cleric to Deneir and scribe within the Vault of the Sages. Brother Calwern wears thick-rimmed spectacles and a perpetual layer of dark ink across his palms. He is also known to be one of the most precise transcribers available in the Conclave and his uniquely thick, curling script is recognized by many throughout the Vault.   Aleluna Reynelis
Half-Elf Female. A gifted mycologist, Aleluna runs a small shop for medicinal and magical mushrooms out of her dormitory in the Lady's College known to student's as Aleluna's Alcove. A terribly kept secret, her business does so well that professors and other shopkeeps often frequent her hall to acquire her wares whose quality is unrivaled in the Southbank.   Arsin Grephine
Half-Elf Male. Professor of Magic History at the Lady's College. Arsin has served in his teaching role for three years, having lived in Waterdeep previously before departing after a difference of opinion with the current Arcane Watchlord. While most would not describe his lectures as particularly riveting, Arsin is known to be an easy professor to take for foundational courses and is generally liked among the faculty despite his sometimes argumentative stance of otherwise mundane topics.   Professor Tasirin
Elf Male. Professor of Spell Construction and Enchantment at the Lady's College. Tasirin is deservedly renowned for a collection of spells authored and perfected throughout his several centuries of study. In his enchantment courses, the professor teaches from his own text, Treatise of Sublimated Oneiromancy.   Matha Nordan
Human female. A Master of Music at Utrumm's Music Conservatory. Matha's most proficient instrument is that of the harp, though it is well-known the nimble musician can outplay most performers on any stringed instruments. A kind and humble spirit, Matha often takes students otherwise neglected under her wing. Even so, Matha is never seen without her matching musical note earrings which are magically tuned to detect auditory illusions for when students attempt to pass their performance reviews with trickery instead of training.   Gwennalore Larora
Half-elf female. A frequent visitor of Sorlar's Smiling Satyr in the Southbank despite being underage to actually partake in the drinks served in the tavern. Sorlar often tells Gwennalore she takes after her human father in her ambition and relentless pace in life, while others sometimes consider her to be a precocious nuisance. Be that as it may, none can refute her skill in sorcery and study as she is currently one of the youngest students admitted to Arkhen's Invocatorium and it is rumored she is already working on an entirely novel scheme as to reach Spellguard Isle by her seventeenth year.      

Silverwatch

  Captain Gunner Grapeshot
Male Dwarf. Captain of the guards who serve as the internal police force for the city. Holds the bureaucratic processes of the city in high regard. Well regarded and respected by his crew for being fair and steadfast. When not working directly with the Silverwatch, Grapeshot is also in charge of maintaining open lines of collaboration with the Knights in Silver, Harpers, and Lord's Alliance.   Lieutenant Captain Balrum Snowstep
Male Dwarf. Captain Grapeshot's right-hand man. Carries himself with an air of nobility and reserve. Oversees the shift captains and sees to more of the day-to-day tasks his captain is spread too thin to handle.   Shift Captain Brammus Rocksplinter
Male Dwarf. In charge of the pre-dawn shift of patrols along the walls of Silverymoon. Rose through the ranks alongside Captain Grapeshot until his most recent promotions.   Katwyn
Human Female. Silverwatch Maintenance Crew Leader. An unassuming and raucous individual, Katwyn leads a small team dedicated to maintaining, repairing, and sometimes constructing new tools and devices for the defenses of the city.   Leonan
Human Male. A relatively new Silverwatch member who is learning the ropes alongside a longtime friend, Vanros, who encouraged him to join.   Vanros
Half-Elf Male. A friendly, confidant individual, Vanros has served in the Silverwatch for twenty years. Though he certainly could use his seniority to choose an easier shift, he continues to serve in the pre-dawn watch for reasons of personal preference.   Tarth

Human Male. Recognized by many by his thick mustache and dark, wary eyes, Sernius is the namesake of a great-grandfather who served in the same role leading the Knights in Silver a century and a half prior.   Aleina Brightlance

Spellguard

    Lord Warder Jorus Azuremantle
Half-elf Male. Following his uncle Taern's ascension to High Mage, Jorus took the mantle of Lord Warder, the highest leader of the Spellguard. Above all, Lord Warder Azuremantle is known to be a reserved and powerful leader who is meticulous in choosing who graduates to serving as a Spellguard. Keeping a broad watch over the concerns of the organization while also working alongside leaders of the Knights in Silver and Harpers, the Lord Warder relies on a total of seven wardens to handle the day to day leadership. Two of the wardens work with the Lord Warder on Spellguard Isle training potential members while the other five coordinate endeavors within and beyond the walls of the city.   Warden Neldor Reyna
Elf Male. Neldor first made a name for himself during the War of the Black Horde serving alongside Alustriel and his sister in breaking the siege of Silverymoon. The spellguard then fought with a battalion of Knights in Silver to push back the wall of orcs, allowing Silverymoon to be retaken and the orcs forced to retreat to the east. In the last century, Warden Reyna has become a steady presence in the Spellguard forces, serving as the primary training Warden who resides full-time on Spellguard Isle. Seeing himself in charge of maintaining the reputation of the Spellguard for the next generations to come, Neldor pushes those under his tutelage relentlessly during their training, but is known to have a gentle disposition when not in his formal role and has become a close confidant of many of the Spellguards who see their studies through to completion.   Warden Lorena Wiseoak
Human Female. Considered by many to be the "mother owlbear" of sorts for the Spellguard, Lorena Wiseoak is a kind, grey-haired and bright-eyed woman in the later quarter of her human life who continues to serve as a guide and counsel on Spellguard Isle. Whereas Neldor handles the physical and arcane training of those who reach the island, Lorena ensures the individuals who graduate are emotionally and spiritually trained to serve as defenders of Silverymoon, her citizens, and her values. Over the last several decades, Lorena has worked personally with every graduated Spellguard.   Spellguard Ren Wiseoak
Human Male. Following in his mother's footsteps, Ren is a second generation Spellguard. Ren stands at a towering height with his bright blonde hair extending beneath his helm and a neatly trimmed beard hiding a scar along his chin from a bar fight gone awry in his youth. More of a fighter with a keen mind for strategy but not so much the arcane, Ren's magical skill development kept him bunking on Spellguard Isle longer than hoped. Following graduation Ren immediately developed as a natural conduit between the Knights in Silver and the Spellguard given the common ground between he and the exclusively martial forces. When deploying his magical training, Ren takes advantage of simple, but strategic conjuration spells which altar the battlefield advantageously.   Spellguard Allanel Reynelis
Half-elf Female. One of the most recently graduated Spellguards, Allanel possess a particular affinity for illusion magic and enjoys deploying misdirection as a tactical technique. Allanel also takes advantage of her sister's stock of magical mushrooms and utilizes some of the more hallucinatory effects to any threat's detriment.  

Harpers

  Nymmestra Durothil
Elf Female. A sun elf with bright golden skin hailing from Evermeet, Nymmestra was a well studied wizard before a destructive tendency of her youth saw her exiled to the Sword Coast where she eventually arrived in Silverymoon. After further misdeeds, Nym found herself stripped of her access to the Weave via magical bracers which erased her memory of her studies. In the process of searching for a way to restore her knowledge, Nym discovered the Harpers and found herself more invested in the friendships and goals of the organization than her own quest and eventually dedicated her life towards their values.   Dzance
Elf Male. A retired ranger who adventured throughout the Sword Coast, Dzance is one of the few non-dwarves to supposedly have visited the lost citadel of Gauntlgrym. He now spends his days as a member of the Harpers.   Myrthos Shyllantham
Half-Elf Male. Though not a performer, Myrthos is a passionate supporter of the arts and is the individual responsible for leading the petition to Lady Alustriel to reopen the Fochlucan bard college.  

Zhentarim

  Viper Uzorel Hornbalde
Human Male. The ranking member of the Zhentarim in Silverymoon, Uzorel is a relatively diminutive figure with lanky limbs and a pale skin and a sharp angular goatee. What he lacks in physical presence he makes up for with tact and charm. Though distantly related to Taern, he uses his family name throughout the city and beyond the walls to sew seeds of opportunity for the Black Network.   Laumia Masterbreaker Inulavi
Female Goliath. A towering figure with giant runes branded into her skin. A recent recruit of the Zhentarim hired to serve as a guard for Uzorel.

  Veron Angalen
Half-Orc Male. A bounty hunter with a mixed reputation in Waterdeep, Veron recently returned to Silverymoon to pursue a more simple life, but upon realizing a simple life still costs coin, has returned to work outsourcing jobs to be done around the city.   Blinnet
Deep Gnome Female. Close friend of Flinderspeld and seen by many as the unofficial matriarch of the close knit svirfneblin community in Silverymoon.   Flinderspeld
Deep Gnome Male. Hailing from the Underdark community of Blingdenstone, Flinderspeld escaped slavery and works as a gem merchant with a prominent position in the Market in the Northbank.   Val Calthor
Human Male. A large, yet unassuming figure with silver beard and short dark hair. Often seen with a quill behind his ear and parchment tucked into his belt. A prominent member of the Broadsheet Guild, Val spends much of his day traversing the city seeking out gossip, news, and rumors. In the evenings, he and his guildmembers collaborate to write and layout the sheets which are then scripted and dispersed twice every tenday.   Xamlyn Margaster
Human Female. A member of the noble family hailing from Waterdeep, it is known Xamlyn is in Silverymoon on family business of some kind, but prefers to keep any further details to herself. She has a notable villa in town with an attached carriage house.   S'feria Ranul
