High Forest NPCs
Notable Individuals
Vosh'riCentaur Male. Vosh'ri wears a braided goatee with a single dark, wooden bead intertwined with short, roughly cropped hair. Isolated from his former hunting band, Vosh'ri sees himself as a neutral presence in the forest who simply desires to see the relative peace maintained for the sake of protecting the forest as a whole. He nurses a resentment for his isolation, having always envisioned himself as a hunting band leader one day, despite also seeing himself as lazy and wishing he were more disciplined. He often quotes his father, who he looked up to, but had a strained relationship with prior to his independence. Turlang the Great
Treant. Stands at nearly 20 meters tall and had a vast crown of immense, forking branches; a few leaves still lingered despite the beginning of autumn. A squirrel has made use of a hollow in the treant's trunk: nuts were stored here every winter. Many returning visitors become life long friends, even if some of them were short indeed. Their powerful trunk has become the home of many creatures big and small, many of whom had known the treant for years. Historic protector of the High Forest, Turlang shepherds a number of awakened trees and shrubs while working to expand the borders of the forest, particularly in the northwest region near Everlund. Recent expansion by the city's construction have forced Turlang to retreat into the forest and to turn his attention to other matters. Turlang can often be found patrolling from Hellgate Keep to Shadowtop Cathedral. Though he has worked alongside guardians of Everlund in the past, recent events strike the treant as a betrayal and Turlang grows increasingly xenophobic of all strangers to the forest. Chloracridara
Adult Green Dragon Female. Chloracridara resides in the partially collapsed tower devoted to Corellon Larethian in Mhiilamniir. Paranoid of leaving her treasure hoard unprotected, the dragon remains uninvolved in the events of the forest. Like many dragons, she maintains a particular, deep-seeded hatred of giants. Having spent so much time protecting her hoard, Chloracridara actually appears with coins and some gems embedded in her scales. Her vision has also faded prematurely, having difficulty discerning details of smaller, humanoid creatures. Wulgreth Lich Male. Formerly Human. Occupies Karse.
Elves
Yrind Morninglight Elf Female. Representative of Caerilcarn, the Council of the Wood. One of a granted few with the authority to speak on behalf of Morgwais Nightmeadow. Based out of Reitheillaethor, the newly rebuilt remains of a former elven village destroyed by the combined forces of orcs and demonfae. Morgwais Nightmeadow Elf Female. Recognized by her beautiful auburn-hair and copper-red complexion. Serving as a leader of her growing wood elf following, Morgwais works to reunite elves of any heritage, including drow who turn from Lolth, under a singular banner that would see them retake the High Forest and rebuild the fallen empire of Eaerlann. Considered to be flirtatious, she is well regarded for her wry sense of humor with a merriment of life exuding from her presence to those who come to be her confidants. To others, she maintains a regal, distant, almost austere persona. She is considered to be quite gifted in communicating and evaluating individuals through telepathy. Also known as the Lady of the Wood or the Red Lady.Uthgardt Barbarians

The Tree Ghost tribe, primarily based in their treetop community of Ghostand, serve as self-dedicated guardians of the Grandfather Tree, which they revere as their ancestral mound. The Tree Ghost Tribe broke off from the Blue Bear tribe in 1313 when their former tribe fell under the control of an Annis Hag by the name of Hagara. After sixty years of wandering through the High Forest, the Tree Ghost tribe were able to rediscover the Grandfather Tree, led by chieftan Gunther Longtooth and shaman Chungred Ghostheart during this era. Chieftan Boorvald OrcbaneHuman Male. A tall, thin figure with dark hair pulled back into a tightly braided ponytail. Boorvald speaks Common quite clearly and keeps a collection of books from Everlund in his personal home. Despite his young age, he is the father to six sons and three daughters, Boorvald and each of his children are considered friends by the elves of the High Forest, as depicted by their wielding of custom-crafted Oathbows for each member of the family. Boorvald earned his name from the raids he led against the Iceshield orc tribes of the High Forest and Dessarin Valley. Shaman Hala Spiritwalk

Now seeking vengeance, the Blue Bear tribe seek to destroy civilization alongside their Stone Giant allies. Hydia MoonmuskHuman Female. Her sharp facial features are exaggerated by the blue streaks of warpaint depicting bear claws while long hair contrasts against the short-sheared sides that are cut to also depict bear clawmarks. Daughter of Kriga Moonmusk, leader of the Blue Bear tribe, Hydia serves as the general and face of the tribe. Shaman Jarvak

Stone Giant Female. An elder Stone Giant Dreamwalker, she is quiet and observant, but demands the respect of the other two more outspoken giants. A powerful druid who frequently visits Turlang in the woods as well as watches over the Shadowtop Cathedral on his own time. Prefers the form of a squirrel with a streak of bright red fur running along his back and tail. Uhrieved Hartshorn
Human Male. Owner of the Flaming Flagon tavern. Specializes in a spiked cider beverage made fresh from the local harvest. Other than this local feature, the menu and decor are rather unremarkable. Aedelvana
