Everlund NPCs

Council of Elders

  High Captain Horix Zoar
Human Male. Commander of Everlund's army. Long dark hair with a defined window's peak. Viewed by his fellow elders as, frankly, a windbag. He has grown even more involved in the city's business following his wife's passing several years ago. He takes great pride in his three children, two of whom continue to take positions of prominence in the city.   High Sorcerer Vaeril Rhuidhen
Sun Elf Male. Former liaison to the Lord's Alliance, Vaeril serves as the more subdued voice of reason amongst the elders who is often burdened with keeping the peace between the more boisterous members.   Kythora Shen, Keeper of the Bridges
Human Female. A retired member of the Army of the Vale now in charge of overseeing the city watch and the operations of conduct and transit in Everlund.   Boldor Steelshield, Master of Guilds
Dwarf Male. Representing the merchants of Everlund, Boldor is no stranger to conflict and extreme positions among the elders. Whispers suggest some of his positions may come at the behest of bribes.   Vatrice Stormwright, Speaker of the Town
Human Female. Bright, cheery cheeks and curly brown hair framing a round face. The citizen-elected representative on the council, Vatrice owns a moderately successful chimney-sweeping business in Everlund. Her ideas and intentions are often undermined by her easily flustered demeanor, though she is gradually gaining confidence in her relatively new position.

Army of the Vale

  Captain Jarin Zoar
Human Male. Second son of the High Captain, many would claim this position to be earned through nepotism. Though partial treatment may be correctly assumed, Jarin is a hardworking and noble-minded individual, seeking to prove himself worthy of the position on his own merit. He features the family's recognizable widow's peak and dark, straight hair which he keeps cut short.   Malphur Shen
Half-Elf Male. Newphew to the Keeper of the Bridges, Malphur trained from a young age to serve in the Army of the Vale and looks ahead with an eagerness to eventually serve as Captain and then eventually the Council of Elders.

Bell Market Vendors

  Golineth Yraudhen
Elf Male. 185 year old Wood Elf. A devout worshiper of Corellon Larethian, Golineth takes great pride in the artistry inherent in his fletching work and craftsmanship of arrows. Sarcastic and intolerable of laziness, Golineth is always looking for competent adventurers who can bring him high-quality materials from the High Forest. Operates the Fetching Fletcher.   Gloriana Rowntree
Human Female. Unassuming in presence and personality, Gloriana takes simple pleasures in a job well done. Meticulous in her organization and operations, she keeps the Lionshield Coster running smoothly despite her displeasure of working in tandem with the Zhentarim in the process.   Katelyn Drake
Human Female. Advanced in age, Katelyn continues to offer her beloved kebabs from a simple, unassuming market stall that she inherited from her mother years ago. In the past, her children helped operate the stand, but now she works alongside her adopted grandchildren, Will and Anne. Operates Katelyn's Kebabs in the Bell Market.   Gavin Drake
Human Male. The only child son of John and Katelyn, Gavin operates a well kept and stocked textile stall, Needle & Thread, in the Bell Market with his husband Doran. In addition to selling raw materials, the pair offer custom tailored clothing. When not working, Gavin and Doran are fond of taking their adopted children down to the riverfront to play and read.   Hethmeir
Half-Orc Male. A tall, brooding figure, Hethmeir is one of the foremost weavers and leatherworkers in the city, based out of Hethmeir's Highboots. He wears a colorful piercing over his left eye and in his left ear.   Uraerik Thaurongol
Dwarf Male. A crafter and smith famous for creating the life-size dragon head that now hangs in the Wyrmworks of Silverymoon. In his everyday work, Uraerik takes on any kind of smithing project, finding no work too small even for a smith of his caliber. Whether it be horseshoes, nails, or swords, Uraerik makes a fine product at a relatively reasonable rate.   Nelaser Mithanmyr
Firbolg Female. Finding her tribe's quiet life among the ancient trees of the High Forest stifling, Nelaser set out for grand adventures and a life of exploration. She only made it as far as Everlund before realizing the rest of the world worked differently than her imagination. Needing to make ends meet in civilization, she began selling herbal remedies and components at the Bell Market. Though her stall, Remedies & Reagents is successful, she openly longs for the adventure she hoped for when she first arrived, always saying that she's saving up to travel further west to the coast.   Thrinarv Merrybringer
Dwarf Female. Having grown up around the furnaces of the Undercity of Sundabar, Thrinarv discovered her passion was in baking, rather than smithing. She spent many years traveling to study pastry and the regional methods for baking before settling in Everlund. Now, she operates one of the most popular stalls in the Bell Market, Baker's Dozen. Even amongst the crowds, her bright red curls and cheery voice distinguishes her among her patrons.   Iathor
Tiefling Male. Short horns protrude from his narrow face. Wears simple workman's clothing, but a fine leather apron with all variety of fish embossed upon it. Growing up as a fisherman who hated to fish, Iathor is much happier now that his business has grown to the point that he can operate his Bell Market stall, Fish & Frills, full-time with a crew of fisherman to bring him his daily catch.   Cedric Ashglade
Human Male. Short grey hair belying his youth, deep dimples on either side of his oft present smile. Proprietor of Bent Bow Bowyer, Cedric crafts custom bows out of the hardwoods harvested from the High Forest. In thanks to his partnership with dwarves out of Sundabar, he also has a near monopoly on offering everbright arrows in the city, a valuable tool for the many hunters and rangers who work out of Everlund.

Champion's Arena

  Kaladas Zoar
Human Male. Owner and operator of the Champion's Arena, firstbord son of Horix Zoar. Imagines himself as a character in the narrative of the Arena, inserting himself into each bout with announcements and spur-of-the-moment rule changes. Inheriting his father's widow's peak, Kaladas keeps his dark hair parted to the side.   Irisien Galathaniel
Drow Female. She has long, curled, white hair and golden eyes. She has rough, pockmarked, purple skin. Operates the betting table and makes no qualms about her prices and betting lines.

Human Female. Her bright green eyes contrast sharply against her close cut dark brunette hair. A warpriest of Tempus and longtime companion of Arahar Brorder. Carries a trident into battle.   Daldorn
Human Male. Older than both Brorder and Mazi, Daldorn's deep wrinkles and thinning hair are hidden beneath a thick beard that stretches out messily in all directions. His greataxe is always polished and well-tended.   Egar
Human Male. The youngest of the Arahar with dark blue eyes and long light blonde hair, Egar only recently joined Brorder's traveling party, but word has quickly spread of his devotion to Tempus and his fury in battle. He wears his older brother's armor that is still a bit too big for him, but moves in it naturally nevertheless.

Krowen created and maintains the Harper's teleportation circle in the spire of Moongleam Tower and cares for his domesticated tressym while training a handful of apprentices.   Ephiro
White Dragonborn Female. A scholar of all things arcane, Ephiro first came to Everlund to study the barriers between the fae and material planes throughout the High Forest. During her time, she saw the inclusive work of the Harpers as beneficial, especially in contrast to her experiences in Avraathe, and serves as their enchanter and providing other basic services while she continues her studies. When not at Moongleam Tower, she can often be found at the Stag at Bay.   Shalden Tencobble
Halfling Male. On the larger side of his kin with a thick curly mop of light hair and thick eyebrows, Shalden came to Everlund after spending several years adventuring as a member of the Lord's Alliance. With the organization's recent falling out in the city, he's actively looking for more ways to get involved.   Eaerlraun Shadowlyn (Historic)

Tabaxi Male. With features similar to a panther, Evening Light Through Clouds has an nontraditional light coat of fur with patches of white and grey scattered across his form. A writer and anthologist, this Tabaxi frequents the taverns in search of stories and adventures worth documenting while training to harness his own innate arcane powers he's recently discovered.

Dreaming Dragon

To the rest of his clients, he happily provides the more affordable, though still fine in quality, Elquesstria.   Harand Oldbuck Halfling Male. Frequent patron of the Dreaming Dragon and tobacco merchant operating the Smoker's Seclude just off from the Bell Market. Fond of his smoking pipe, he smells perpetually of tobacco and amber.

Stag at Bay

  Leo Laughingsteel
Human Male. Not a tavern-owner by intention, Leo took over the Stag at Bay when his brother, the former owner, was killed in a hunting accident a few years prior. A portrait of the late brewer, Rof, hangs over the mantle. Despite the turn of events, Leo is a happy-go-lucky and easygoing individual, simply doing the best with the hand he's dealt. He loves to hear the hunting stories of his patrons, imagining his brother vicariously through them.   Ruldorn "Ranger of the Storm"
Human Male. A thin, giant of a man who stands nearly seven feet tall. A community leader among the hunters and guides of the city, he provides protection, information, and guidance through the High Forest and is regarded highly by his peers.   Bess Farlight

Missing Minotaur

  Elsk "Squarejaw" Thavarask
Human Male. Medium height with brown hair and green eyes with worn features. A retired adventurer, Squarejaw is no stranger to magic nor danger, but strongly believes both have their place. When his patrons began to become unduly rowdy, he had the idea to turn his storage basement into a low-key fighting ring. Here, patrons could work off their aggression in a contained environment with set rules, the tavern could take bets and make a bit of extra coin, and all of Elsk's furniture remained intact. The "minotaur's pit" became an instant success and drew the attention of many folk who would never have considered crossing the threshold prior.   Selth Dorlanneir
Human Male. Taking on odd jobs for the right price, Selth is relatively young man whose hair has already turned completely white. Trusting in his ability to get out of danger unscathed, Selth takes on work opportunities most other guides and guards would shy away from.   Elanthra
Human Male. Fair skin and light blonde hair. Trusted friend of Elsk, Elanthra has long operated as a server of the Missing Minotaur with a great deal of autonomy and say in both the menu and operations of the tavern.   Bonefist
Dwarf Male. Known for his short temper and recognized by his curly, thick set of light hair shaved to a short mohawk and closely-trimmed beard. After years of hard labor in Citadel Felbarr, he trekked to Silverymoon where he took oddjobs and temporary work to make ends meet before finding the new opportunities for coin surrounding fighting a tempting proposition in Everlund.   Masterbreaker
Goliath Female. Bad ass.   Alianor
Human Female. A close friend of Elanthra, Alianor typically keeps to herself in the corner of the tavern with a book. She is also an ally of the Harpers and keeps tabs on the ongoings in the Minotaur.   Leechbrain
Goblin Male. With his long, matted dark hair sticking up and his long arms with huge hands and razor-sharp nails, Leechbrain gives off the appearance of being larger than his true height. His crooked hook of a nose gives off a menacing mean to even his neutral expressions.   Slub
Goblin Male. Though larger and stouter than his companion, Slub differs to Leechbrain on most decisions, happy to go with the flow as long as he finds food and drink wherever the path leads. Recently the two have taken turns sparing in the Missing Minotaur for coin, but Slub has yet to get the better of his more ferocious friend.

The youngest Helmite to reach the rank of Vigilance in the history of Everlund's keep, Merek is excitable and searching for innovative ways to increase the prominence and presence of Helm within the city's hearts and minds. Already the keep has seen a surge in popularity, though gossip would attribute it to his handsome appearance and merchant's interested in marrying their daughters to a source of protection for their wares. He keeps his wavy hair cropped short and has bright blue eyes.   Watcher Laserie Maeretha
Half-Elf Female. Serves as the Captain of the Watchknights and holds her position with pride and purpose. A tattoo of a greatsword stretches down her left arm, in memory of her mother. Left on the doorstep as a child, Drake was raised in the keep and raised to devote his life to protecting those who could not protect themselves. Not much of a fighter, Drake has instead worked to develop relationships with important citizens to ensure the city does what it can to take care of its own. Drake is currently petitioning and raising funds to open an orphanage in the vacant home adjacent to the keep. He and his wife Katelyn have just celebrated sixty years of marriage.

Starmeadow

  Talraidal
Elf Female. For the last century, Talraidal has called Starmeadow her home. She wears long, braided, blond hair and her brown eyes highlight her golden-hued skin. Even-tempered and generous with her time, the minister is welcoming to all who seek the creative inspiration Corellon Larethian provides, while simultaneously encouraging the warcraft elements of her faith through martial training and tutoring. Talraidal is equally talented with a paint brush as she is a blade or bow.

Notable Organizations

Black Buckler

  Brana Fenwick

Human Male. Quite skilled with a bow, Hadrian has made good coin under the employ of the Bucklers. Secretly a member of the Harpers as well, he is currently keeping a close watch on the expanding operations of the mercenaries. Having received his training at a young age, he does his best to take on students whenever he has time, which is becoming less and less frequent these days.

Sarthun's Shield

  Tiny Ophirn
Halfing Male. Constantly pushing his long curly blonde hair out of his eyes, Tiny is stout in stature, looking more akin to a clean-shaved dwarf than many of halfing kin. Aging well past the middling years of life, Tiny is more than content to lead Sarthun's Shield, organizing their contracts and appearances on behalf of the other dozen members.   Regular Ophirn
Halfling Male. Serving as an informal second-in-command to his brother, the younger Ophirn brother looks up to his sibling with pride and is quite defensive of him beyond need. Sharing the same curling blonde hair with a smaller frame, Regular is often not far from his brother's side and both can often be found at the Dreaming Dragon after a day's work.   Tera Stormwright
Human Female. Originally from Yartar, Tera settled into town after meeting her now wife, Vatrice. Tera was instrumental in securing Vatrice's place on the Council, knowing that she would do so without pretense. Though the youngest and newest among Sarthun's Shield, Tera enjoys the slower pace of work and the relative safety of their jobs. That's not to say she doesn't find herself a bit restless from time to time.   Herald Loudrun
Human Male. One of the newer recruits, Herald jumped ship from the Zhentarim after he found he wasn't a good fit for their more aggressive politics and ambitious endeavors.
