Immeral "Imrel"
The Scholar of Oghma, Hero of Phandalin
History
Immeral — known to some as Imrel — was born in Neverwinter to a family of scribes and scholars devoted to Oghma, the Binder of What Is Known.
His childhood was a quiet one, spent among parchment and ink rather than play. To Immeral, books were companions and silence was comfort.
He entered the Neverwinter Arcane Academy, where he quickly gained a reputation for his precision, restraint, and intellect. Calm and detached, he believed that magic was not a weapon but a means of understanding creation itself.
He trusted few, spoke little, and measured every word — a student of both spellcraft and self-discipline.
When turmoil swept the North, Immeral joined a small band of adventurers answering a call for help in Phandalin. There, he would find both friendship and purpose.
Background
Immeral and his companions exposed and defeated Yarno “Glasstaff” Albrek and the Black Spider, freeing Phandalin from corruption and reopening Wave Echo Cave. His mastery of Evocation magic and surgical precision on the battlefield earned him the respect of allies and foes alike.
He kept Glasstaff’s staff as a reminder of what happens when intellect strays from humility.
Upon returning to Neverwinter, he resumed teaching and research at the Arcane Academy, dividing his time between the Temple of Oghma and private study. His focus turned toward the interplay between divine inspiration and arcane law — where knowledge ends, and faith begins.

Current Chapter
Now a prisoner in Hallow Gate Jail, Immeral watches, listens, and waits.
The cursed ranger, the fallen monk, and the volatile sorcerer locked near him are not the company he sought — yet something in their convergence feels deliberate.
When he closes his eyes, faint blue sparks pulse from his fingertips, tracing runes only he can see. Even here, even in darkness, knowledge endures.
