Influence

When you fail on a dexterity check or a dexterity based ability check, a large sphere of water materializes over you or your allies, crashing down on you. 

Ritual

A Kraken appears in an ocean, not that far way. Within the next 2d4 days, it will attack a village nearby. The Querent sees in a vision which city they will attack. If the Kraken is able to demolish 2 cities, they will disappear and the Querent will be taken with them. The Kraken has taken many ships down, and the treasures must be somewhere ... 

Whispers

When the Kraken moves to a city with the intent to destroy it, rumors that the Querent is responsible start to circulate.
