The sun is starting to set, giving the village a warm, orange hue. Neatly arranged cottages and wooden huts line the shore, with smoke rising from several chimneys. On the edge of the village stands a tall and imposing longhouse, which appears to be the center of the settlement.   The powerful sound of waves crashing against the rocks is echoed by the cries of seagulls, as if welcoming the Vikings to their new home. As the ship draws closer, the smells of the ocean become stronger and more intense, filling the air with a salty aroma.   The shore is a bustling hive of activity, with locals and merchants alike gathering around the harbor. Fishermen can be seen unloading their catches, while traders and merchants are bargaining for goods. A group of children are playing near the water’s edge, their laughter and chatter filling the air.   The Vikings disembark and make their way through the village. They pass several homes, each one filled with the sounds of laughter and conversation. They are greeted with friendly smiles and nods from the villagers, and can feel the warmth of the community.   As the Vikings make their way towards the longhouse, they can feel the excitement in the air. They can almost feel the presence of their ancestors, as if their spirits are still here, guiding them to their new home.

  Welcome to Fledderynn. This world is still in the early stages of life and hasn't been overly developed. The seas are mostly unused and the wilds are still extremely dangerous. While there are civilized areas, they are not close to each other. Loose alliances have been made and are frequently broken.   There are lands that are completely unexplored and waiting to be discovered. The only issue that remains in the way is crossing the vast bodies of water to get to them and actually believing that they exist. Most of the people don't think there is anything across the water.   This world is filled with intrigue and danger. The lands are undeveloped and unexplored. Who will be the brave souls to find the mysteries that still await to be discovered. Will it be you? Or will you choose to take the safe route and only take the regular and known routes?
