An attempt to reopen the portal to the Mirrorworld ends in disaster, killing nearly all of the royal family members of the Clarantave Dynasty, ruling family of the elfae species and Bavnovian Empire. A delicate balance of power and magic is thrown into turmoil when ten thousand beings from across universes and dimensions enter the world in the wake of the explosion.
