Dehl (dell)

Human in appearance with cat-like eyes, ears, tail, and coloration on their skin. They are known for their speed and agility, and are always barefoot. They have been an ally with Bavnos for centuries; during the early years of the reign of Sten of Clarantave, Romardehl joined the Bavnovian Empire.

Their clothing is unisex and consists of a sleeveless, knee-length tunic of a solid color with rows of patterned ribbon around the hem and neckline; most wear an embossed leather belt. Both sexes wear their hair long - women keep theirs elaborately braided and all pinned neatly to their head, while men wear their hair twisted into a rope coiled around their head like a helmet. To have short hair is to be shamed, and a woman with unbraided hair shows she is a prostitute.
