History
Starting as safe outpost for merchants and travelers, heading into the city, it became a convenient location for merchants to start a settlement, a lord was then sent from the city to govern the settlement and safeguard its interests.

Located along the primary waterway used for shipping in the Land of Mists.
Climate
A shallow bend in the river, created a nice little cover for the trading post to develope.
