In the wake of a nation’s near-total annihilation, the world’s religions convened in an unprecedented council. Their purpose: to discuss the nature and purpose of the ARIA Stones. What began as debate soon became doctrine. The ARIA Stones were declared sacred relics, symbols of divine communication and mortal responsibility.

Henceforth, they would be maintained jointly by all Good and Neutral-aligned faiths, while the Evil-aligned orders swore oaths to guard them from misuse, ensuring such devastation would never befall the world again.
