Festival Begins

• The party arrives at Nightstone Festival, a grand celebration of deities.
• Azula Sportine is at the front entrance welcoming people in - she dismisses Caelum
• Opening remarks from a tabaxi Shawn and the God-King Lord Jeffries

Character Introductions:

• Caelum : Middle-aged elf cleric, worshipper of Savras.
• Salvinia vin/vinia : Young water genasi ranger from the The Mere of Dead Men.
• Zavi: Transmasc Dragonborn, annoyed by halfling chaos.
• La Suena : Loxodon wrestler (7'9", 325 lbs) from the Gigglebones Circus.
• Erewyn: Arrives on the back of a centaur (Nature's Bounty )

Circus Wrestling Match

• Circus Performance: WWE-style fight between La Suena and Kraw-Ka (flamingo man).
• Zavi gets high on mysterious mushrooms from a dragonborn named Yampath
• Zavi tries (and fails) to scam tiefling lawyers (Attyrnneys at Law)

Disaster Strikes:

• A sudden storm of falling boulders crushes the festival.
• The party is knocked unconscious but protected by mysterious purple magic (linked to their backstory items).

Aftermath:

• Wake up to a destroyed Nightstone. Corpses, crushed tents, and the circus caravan gone.
• Obsidian Nightstone: A central artifact in the square, now cracked.
• Bell Tolling: Eerie ringing from the temple tower.

Combat Encounter:

• Worg Attack: Two wolf-like beasts feast on corpses.
• Battle Highlights:
• Zavi’s tail whip crit (20 damage!) kills one worg.
• Erwin’s entangle spell restrains the other.
• Caelum heals Zavi with Healing Word (the party is working together!)
• La Suena finishes the second worg with a brutal sickle strike.
• Loot: 4 worg ears (for trophies or sale).

• Azula Sportine : Sharp-eyed elf secretary, dismissive but key to the plot.
• Yampath Dragonborn circus performer who offers magic mushrooms to Zavi

• Kraw-Ka : Flamingo wrestler, La Suena’s rival

• Nightstone: A fortified settlement south of the Ardeep Forest.
• Festival Grounds: Tents, shrines, and a central tower for announcements.
• Temple Tower: Source of the bell tolling; partially destroyed.

• Zavi: 9 GP looted from halfling corpses (despite party disapproval).
• Zavi: Cracked geode rock (purple veins, magical barrier source).
• Zavi: 4 worg ears (trophies).

Cliffhangers/Hooks:

• Who caused the boulder storm?
• Why did the party wake up unharmed with purple magic shielding them?
• Where is Azula, and what is her connection to the God-King?

Player Highlights:

• La Suena’s dramatic wrestling match ("Truth and poetry always win!").
• Caelum worries for a random 15 year old Dragonborn's wellness
• Zavi’s mushroom-induced confusion ("I’m 15! Is this legal?").
• Zavi’s failed deception vs. the tiefling lawyers (he does receive a business card, however)

• Erewyn fanboys over La Suena (a stan is born)

• Zavi enlists La Suena's help to lift a large boulder (not to save anyway, just so he can loot the corpses)
• Erewyn attempts to speak to the worgs (unsuccessful, combat ensues)
• Vinny performs death rites on the corpses
• Zavi: "I loot the corpses" (chaotic neutral energy).
• Caelum: Emergency heals while avoiding combat (the party is working together!)
