The Strumpet & Crumpet
The Strumpet & Crumpet – an inn and bakery but at night the bakery floor is a small tavern of sorts. A home for orphaned girls who work for the room and board either by working in the bakery and kitchen or keeping the premises clean. A large inn of nearly thirty rooms need to be cleaned and laundered every day. Laundry and seamstress are on the grounds as well as a large garden for the kitchen. A Spotted Groulet coop keeps the place supplied in eggs and meat as well as a few cows for milking. Almost self-sustaining this place gained its popularity several years ago when the ladies who run the place started selling ale during the summer nights. The women sing a few songs that all workers know as they serve drinks. Some say plans for full tap room are in the works but during the day one would never even know a small party is here almost every night. The women wear an off the shoulder outfit revealing a lot of cleavage further increasing tips for the ladies. The work and everything that goes on here is like watching a well-oiled machine located in Wimbley’s Tower
