The Amber Tablet

Legends of the amber tablet created by Horus Mezgiztrisis some time around 4500 to 4600 BF during the Oblitus Cognus It is rumored that more than one tablet exist. Each is thought to be centuries in the making with the shaping and crafting of the amber. All inscribed with various instructions, directions and alchemical compounds many unique to themselves. Mezgiztrisis is thought to be the living champion of both Horus and Thoth and a survivor of Atlantis. The champion of the sun, wisdom, writing and language, healing, protection and the sky. An incredible scholar, alchemist, philosopher and wizard, Horus composed the tablets for the future chosen. There may come a day when the world needs saving again. The Amber Tablets are the means from the gods themselves to battle the forces of evil.   Many have mentioned the tablet through the ages other than Mezgiztrisis. Alchemists, wizards witches philosophers and more have searched for the tablets. None successful. Some verbal history, more myth and legend than anything has been rehashed and rewritten by a few of those subjects. The most common of the myths is that the Amber Tablet contains the recipe for the philosophers stone or the Elixir of Life. Still others think the Amber Tablet has secret knowledge of the gods themselves. An early alchemist, Nicolas Flamel from Ft Paladine in 423 AF is said to have created the “Elixir of Life” for he and his wife and are still alive today seven hundred years later. Another studious individual from history, 843 AF is linked to the Amber Tablets indirectly. Isaac Newsprings of Tower Rock, an astronomer, alchemist, mathematician and philosopher also studied from Flamel’s written notes. He is rumored to have also studied secret historical works on the Amber Tablets. It is written by others that Isaac created the Elixir of life as well, but never consumed it as it was stolen by a mysterious figure. This story is often passed around alchemy circles to keep your lab and recipes secret.   The Amber Tablets are only mentioned once in historical books, The Incognita Sermo (The Unknown Listener) by an Epirian historian. This historian, Isoclese, was the first to write down the oral lectures of those who passed down the tiny bits of ancient history from before the cataclysm, he is often mentioned as the father of history by modern historian. Parmenides, Socrates, Plato and others discussing subjects like cosmology, biology, theology, ontology, alchemy and more. The location of the Celestial Compass was thought to be legend up until it was discovered in the Crystal Mountains (Modern day Giant s Run Mountains) just a few centuries ago (941AF) by Giovanni Vasi, an archaeologist from Uralic. Since then many have made a pilgrimage there to study the Celestial Compass and one wizard, Keirvir Glasscaster has built his tower there. There are only five known copies of The Incognita Sermo (The Unknown Listener), one in each of the great libraries. Other scholars and researchers may have personal copies, notes and more in their private collections either personally curated or transcribed.   What is known about the tablets is they are made from amber, petrified tree sap or resin. From other ancient tablets recovered by archaeologists they are assumed to be approximately 1 foot by 2 foot. Clay tablets recovered from the lost city shows this to be consistent with the style. The contents of the tablets are hypothesized to address cosmology, alchemy, ontology, and biology. The exact number of tablets in unknown.   Speculation of the amber tablet contents include transmutation of both elements through alchemy and genetic alteration through magic. Advanced alchemy and the harnessing of magic. Knowledge of the cosmos and alternate planes and methods of travel among them.
