This sleepy town fish for the knuckle mouth trout to help feed the city, the druids maintain a fish hatchery so supplies are not depleted. A fishermen’s guild is located here to help keep the prices of the fish stable and the cost of drying and pickling fish to take to market. The fierce competition and the improved regulation of pricing in the economy allowed the population to grow rather slowly during the last 200 years to just below 9700. The Knucklemouth trout has a large ivory plate in its head that gives it its name. This plate is sometimes carved into works of art. Barrels are also manufactured here in this town and are the primary source of income outside of the fishing. The towns’ folk also do not fish the southernmost lake. The southernmost lake is not fished due to a problem with giants that migrated in just a few decades ago. This giant problem is also a partial reason the Highlanders have become friendly with the statesmen and are now living in high concentration here in Seven Lakes. Even the new Mayor, Taber McKellum III is of highlander blood. The coal mines have become the biggest export. The vast majority is shipped to Tower Rock.
