Scarsmis Lake

One of the lakes collectively known as Seven Lakes Scarsmis is directly connected to the river. As part of the River Winding, Scarsmis Lake is a large portion of the river that is utilized by many, both goodly races and monster alike. Fishing and cultivation keep various hamlets alive.   The main fish that live in the lake are Knucklemouth Trout, Largemouth bass, Spotted bass, River Trout, Blue catfish, Channel catfish, Flathead catfish, Black crappie, White crappie, Bluegill, Redear sunfish, White bass.   Several species of land or shore based animals live in or around the area including Giant River root Isoptera, Raffmagon, several species of Turtles including rock and wood turtles, over 30 species of snakes, wild Spotted Growlett, Deer, Elk, Various squirrels including Zebra Squirrel. Larger predators such as the Velosileopard, wolf and many many more.   Trees in the area include Cottonwood, Silver Maple, various Oak and Willow. Common Grasses and Sedges Prairie Cord Grass, and Wildflowers Cattails, Arrowheads, Duckweed, Spotted Jewelweed, Blue Vervain, Marsh Marigold, Skunk Cabbage. Several small orc and goblin clans operate on and around the lake as well. The clans change names all to often to truly name but one orc clan stands out known as the Red Raiders. The die captured boats sails red and raid the lake and river. One goblin clan has a Gnarledthorn boat but its mostly the home and they stear clear of any combat with it.
