Gaxonia

Gaxonia   A huge barrier reef sits on the south side of the continent and grows slightly up on the western portion. The reef is very colorful, and the water is very shallow. Often ships that are wrecked here become engulfed in the new growth of coral. This is one of only a few societies who utilize slavery. This kingdom is very brutal to those who become slaves and treats them so.   Necromancy and elemental magic (fire in particular) dominate the arcane culture. The Turrim Obsid is a huge tower of arcane manipulated volcanic obsidian is the base of arcane military might located in New Gaxton.   The King has died just days after his son was born (1177). A steward is in control of the kingdom until the prince becomes of age. The steward is striving to either kill the prince or take control of the kingdom via marrying the queen. Either way he has control but for a limited time, he is evil and has become very powerful and is supported by a portion of the military loyal to the steward.   The massive swamp to the north is a prime source for food. Fish, amphibians and other pristine sources including snails and slugs, many plants are harvested as well. Food if often spicy and fish is the dominant protein. Spices like garlic, spicy peppers (cayenne), salt, (think Cajun or creole foods).   Characters and NPCs from here have a cajun accent
