Path of the Skies
3rd Level: Aerial Rage
When you enter a rage, you gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed, you are immune to bludgeoning damage, and you count as one size larger for the purposes of grappling, shoving, and carrying capacity. While raging, you can replace one of your attacks with an attempt to grapple a creature. If you succeed, you can immediately fly up to half your flying speed without provoking attacks of opportunity while carrying the creature. On this or any subsequent turn, you can release the creature (Free Action). The creature takes bludgeoning damage equal to 1d10 for every 10 feet it falls, plus your Rage Damage bonus and your Strength modifier. Creatures that hit the ground from at least 30 feet must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier). On a successful save, they take half damage. On a failed save, they take full damage and are knocked prone. You may choose to fall with the creature, placing yourself in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of them.3rd Level: Sky Hunter
Your senses are honed for aerial hunting. You gain proficiency in Perception and Survival checks. If you already have proficiency in either skill, you instead gain expertise, allowing you to add double your proficiency bonus to checks with that skill.6th Level: Gale Rush
You have learned to manipulate the air itself to control the battlefield. When you grapple a creature and use your Aerial Rage feature, you can choose one additional creature within 10 feet of the grappled target. A sudden gale of wind lifts them alongside your grappled creature. The creature must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier). On a failed save, it becomes part of your dive-bomb attack, falling at the end of your turn instead of being held aloft.10th Level: GIGA IMPACT
At 10th level, you have mastered the wind to control falling creatures. When a creature falls within 60 feet of you, you can use your reaction to manipulate their descent, either accelerating or decelerating it.- Accelerate: The creature takes double fall damage when it hits the ground.
- Decelerate: The creature takes half fall damage when it hits the ground.
14th Level: Wings of Rage
Your mastery of the skies has reached its pinnacle. You have a flying speed equal to your walking speed even when you are not raging. While raging, your flying speed is doubled. In addition, whenever you fly in a straight line of 20 feet or more toward a target, your first weapon attack against that target gains an attack bonus equal to your Rage Damage bonus, and the attack deals twice your Rage Damage bonus instead.
Barbarians who follow the Path of the Skies view the air itself as their domain. They ride the currents, strike from above, and descend upon their foes like storms given form. These warriors are nomadic hunters of the open skies, using mobility, instinct, and raw power to dominate both battlefield and prey.
They are attuned to weather and wind, able to anticipate storms, track creatures from above, and use the battlefield in three dimensions. Their combat style revolves around flight, grapples, and aerial assaults, turning vertical space into a lethal advantage.
