Path of The Colourstorm

3rd Level: Colour Theory

When you enter a rage, and on each of your subsequent turns while raging, you can use your bonus action to unleash the power of colour. You can cast Colour Spray at a spell level equal to your Rage Damage bonus (starting as a 2nd level spell at level 3).   In addition, any creature currently affected by the blinded condition suffers against your fury. While a creature is blinded, your critical hit range expands to 19–20.

6th Level: Colourful Energy

You have learned to attune your body and weapon to the primal energy of a single prime colour: Red (fire), Blue (cold), or Yellow (lightning). When you enter your rage, you choose a colour from the three listed. While raging, your weapon attacks deal an additional 1d6 damage of the corresponding type.   In addition, you gain resistance to that same damage type. The chosen colour remains with you for the duration of your rage.

10th Level: Colour Mix

Your mastery over chromatic energy deepens, allowing you to blend colours and create new effects. When you use your Colourful Energy feature, you can now choose two colours instead of one. The combination of colours grants you access to additional damage types:
  • Red + Blue = Purple: necrotic damage
  • Yellow + Red = Orange: radiant damage
  • Blue + Yellow = Green: poison damage
Additionally, when you cast Colour Spray while raging, you can choose to deal damage along with the blindness. Roll a number of d10 equal to your Rage Damage bonus, and any creature that fails its Constitution saving throw from Colour Spray takes your chosen colour damage. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage.

14th Level: Monotone

Your mastery of colour reaches its apex, or its absence. When you enter a rage, you can choose to forgo selecting a colour, causing your form to become black and white as your colour energy bleeds out. While raging in this state, your Colour Spray deals untyped damage that cannot be reduced by any means.   In addition, you gain immunity to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. Your weapon attacks deal an additional 1d6 force damage, and any creature hit by these attacks reduces its maximum hit points by the same amount as the force damage drains their colour.
Barbarians who follow the Path of the Colourstorm have unlocked the magiks of colour itself, channeling the vibrant energy of the rainbow to enhance their physical body. Their rage manifests not only as ferocious strength but as brilliant, shifting hues that radiate from their body, turning each strike into a display of living colour.   These warriors are known for their bold personalities and flamboyant attire. They often paint their faces with striking patterns, wear bright clothing, and decorate their weapons with colourful symbols, believing that the power of colour can uplift the spirit, inspire allies, and intimidate enemies. Their combat style combines raw barbaric strength with bursts of radiant, chromatic energy, creating a spectacle as deadly as it is beautiful.
