Oni
Oni are creatures born from the aspect of time by the old god Chronos, their tribal goal is to fix time and make it the best outcome possible. Their race disappeared after the end of the 6th generation and the death of Chronos but have recently reappeared due to the effects of "The Melding".
The appearance of an Oni is two horns from their head, and the colour of their skin is dependant on their tribe, most oni can choose more human skin but their hair still stays the same colour of tribe. They take on a more humanoid appearance as they are formed with a similar appearance to their birth god.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Size: Medium or Small
Speed: 30ft walking speed
Time Distortion: When you deal damage to a creature, they are marked with an essence of time. Until the start of your next turn, when the marked creature would start its turn, it takes force damage equal to your proficiency mod.
You can have only one marked creature at a time, and any newer marked will cause the older marks to disappear if you so choose.
Warriors of Time: When you make a melee attack on your turn, your reach for it is 5 feet greater than normal as you hit them from another possible time.
Oni Variants
The colour of your skin or hair represents your tribe and specialty of your tribe, these features can only be used once per long rest. Your DCs uses Prof+8+Mental stat;

Firmus | Red | As a bonus action, you cause a storm of fire to surround you as a 5ft aura for 1 minute. Any creature that enters or starts its turn within the flame aura takes fire damage equal to your prof mod. |
Aquae | Blue | As a bonus action, you can surround your weapon or fists with ice for 1 minute. You deal an additional d4 cold damage and reduce the creatures movement by 10ft until the start of your next turn. |
Respiratio | Orange | When you consume the flesh of another creature, you gain their most recent memories within the past 13 hours. |
Locus | Green | As an action, you can touch the terrain and in a 20ft radius centred on you for one minute. It will become difficult terrain as vines and wild life grow from your palms. You ignore this difficult terrain and as a bonus action you can select a creature within it and the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained by the magical vines until the effect ends. A Large or larger creature has advantage on this saving throw. If the target succeeds on the save, then they become immune to this effect for 13 hours. While restrained by this spell, the target takes 1d6 piercing damage at the start of each of its turns. A creature restrained by the vines or one that can touch the creature can use its action to make a Strength check (Athletics) against your DC. On a success, the target is freed. |
Electio | Yellow | Your body becomes faster and less burdened by your mortal form, you gain the effect of Haste for 1 minute. After the minute has passed, you gain 1 exhaustion and lethargy as your muscle begin to break down. |
Eclipse | Black | As a bonus action, you summon an eclipse moon above your head, it radiates 10ft of light and an extra 10ft of dim light for 1 minute. While in this light, you gain hp equal to your prof mod + con mod at the start of your turn. |
Elementum | Iridescent | As a bonus action, your Iridescent skin/hair begins to shimmer and move. You undergo the effects of the Blur spell for 1 minute. |
Sonus | White | As an action, you can burst into a ray of light. All creatures of your choice within 30ft of you must make a CON save against your DC or be blinded for 1 minute. They can repeat this save at the end of their turns. |
Cogitationes | Grey | As a bonus action, your skin becomes transparent and see through. You have advantage on stealth checks and you can hide even when not in cover. |
Opportuna | Indigo | As a reaction, when you see a creature move. You can choose to move towards them (As long as you have the movement for it) and make one melee weapon attack against them. If the attack should hit then their speed is reduced to 0. This feature isn't expended until you successfully hit with the melee attack. |
Adfectus | Magenta | You can cast Alter Self as a free action without concentration, the duration lasts for 8 hours and you can end it as a bonus action or until you are reduced to 0 hit points. |
Vita | Purple | When you are reduced to 0 hit points, you can instead go to 1hp and become immune to all damage until the start of your next turn. The symbol of the Goddess of Life and Death will form above you as this happens. |
Exitium | Brown | As a bonus action, you can choose to step into the Distortia Plane and leave as a bonus action. For the next minute of using this feature you can keep repeating this effect as long as you keep using your bonus action to enter and leave. While on the Distortia Plane, you can see and hear the plane you originated from, which is casted in gold and you can't see anything more than 10 feet away as all possible outcomes play at the same time clouding your view. You can only affect and be affected by other creatures on the same plane. Creatures that aren't there can't perceive you or interact with you, unless they have the ability to do so. |
