Blood Angel
As the bloodlines of Tiefling and Aasimar mingle, a new race emerges— the Blood Angels. These individuals embody the harmonious fusion of celestial and infernal heritage, balancing the conflicting energies within them.
Blood Angels are striking beings, their appearances a testament to the intertwining celestial and infernal forces in their lineage. These horned creatures bear the physical traits of both their Aasimar and Tiefling ancestors. Blood Angels possess prominent horns that sweep back from their foreheads. These horns vary in shape and size, reflecting their Tiefling heritage. Their skin ranges from a pristine, angelic white to deep, infernal reds. The color of their skin is often influenced by their Tiefling lineage, incorporating the typical hues associated with devilish ancestry. A radiant halo hovers above their heads, casting a soft red glow. This halo is a symbol of their celestial connection, and their eyes are captivating, often glowing with an otherworldly radiance. The color of their eyes may mirror the shades of their skin or showcase a mix of celestial and infernal hues.

Anatomy
Size: Blood Angels are built like well-proportioned humans. Your size is Medium.
Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet
Forbidden Legacy: You know the Sacred Flame cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Hellish Rebuke spell once per day. Once you reach 5th level, you can also cast the Heat Metal spell once per day. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Forbidden Revelation: When you reach 3rd level, choose one of the revelation options below. Thereafter, you can use a bonus action to unleash the celestial and infernal energy within yourself, gaining the benefits of that revelation. Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. Once you transform using your revelation below, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
- Hellish Destruction: Your transformation focuses on the destructive powers of the infernal realm. Flames dance across your skin, and your eyes burn with an intense fiery glow. For the duration, you shed bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet, and at the end of each of your turns, each creature within 10 feet of you takes fire damage equal to your proficiency bonus. As an action, you can choose a point within 10 feet of you. A vortex of hellfire erupts at that point, creating a 10-foot radius sphere. Creatures within the sphere must make a Dexterity saving throw against your charisma DC, taking 2d6 fire damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one. The vortex lasts until you end your Forbidden Revelation or until you cast this feature again, and you can use your bonus action to move the sphere 30ft. Once on each of your turns, you can deal extra fire damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra damage equals your proficiency bonus.
- Angelic Protection: Your transformation is a manifestation of celestial grace and protection. Your halo shines brightly above your head, and your skin radiates a warm, comforting light. In this form, you are a beacon of celestial protection, shielding your allies from harm. For the duration, you gain +2 AC and any ally also gains this benefit if they are within 10ft of you. In addition, once per turn, when you or an ally within 10ft of you are attacked by a melee attack you can deal extra radiant damage to the attacker. The extra damage equals your proficiency bonus.
- Unstable Fusion: Your transformation is an unpredictable blend of celestial and infernal energies. Your appearance shifts rapidly between radiant and fiery aspects, creating an aura of chaos. If you score a critical hit with an attack, you can choose another creature within 30 feet of you to also take the critical damage. This additional damage is of the same type as the critical hit. You gain advantage on Charisma saving throws against spells and other magical effects. Once on each of your turns, you can deal extra fire or radiant (roll a d6 at the start of each of your turns. On a 1-3, your attacks deal radiant damage; on a 4-6, they deal fire damage.) damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra damage equals your proficiency bonus.
