Agonith

The Agonith, descendants of The Broken God, exist in a paradoxical state where suffering is both a curse and a wellspring of power. Masters of transmuting pain into strength, their bodies bear the eternal mark of their endurance in the form of ever-shifting scars.   Many Agonith reside within the Mortal Plane, leading nomadic lives necessitated by their constant pain. To cope, they employ various methods, including medicines, magical practices, or other means to disconnect from their bodies.   In appearance, Agonith are long, slender beings. Their skin exhibits a continuous, subtle undulation reminiscent of a swirling whirlpool. Marked by scars that constantly appear and disappear in a vortex-like pattern across their bodies, the Agonith endure the perpetual discomfort inflicted by their unique heritage. Their skin typically takes on hues of indigo, grey, or maroon.   These scars, animated and dynamic, weave intricate patterns that tell a story even the Agonith themselves may not fully comprehend. At times, the scars emit a faint, warm, white glow, temporarily alleviating the Agonith's pain. Their eyes, devoid of iris or pupils, resemble pools of darkness.
