Size: Medium   Speed: 30ft walk speed, 30ft swim speed   Skills: You gain proficiency in one skill of your choice.   Psychic Drain: As an action, you can choose a creature within 30ft of you and make a ranged attack. If it hits then the creature takes 1d6 psychic damage, and you regain hit points equal to the damage the creature takes. This features damage increases by 1d6 when you reach 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6). Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your ability modifier to hit (choose when you select this race).   Tentacle: At third level, you gain tentacles that sprout from your back. They are translucent and slimy which seem invisible to those that have a passive perception of 14 or less. Using these tentacles as a spellcasting focus, you can cast the Protection from Evil and Good spell once with this trait; you regain the ability to cast it when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can also cast the Lesser Restoration spell once per day with this trait; you regain the ability to cast it when you finish a long rest. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells (choose when you select this race).   Psionic Latency: At level 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20.
