The Ferdinand's Encyclopaedia
The Ferdinand's Encyclopaedia is the general knowledge encyclopaedia composed by the Archroyal Academy of the Archkingdom of Sigisland. Immensely popular amongst all classes of people, its editions are widely distributed for the benefit of popular education. It is highly regarded by the Archqueen Karolina-Louise, who is said to have devoured its contents on a daily basis and having gained much of her famed erudition thanks to its exhaustive treatment of a diverse body of knowledge. It is controversial for containing articles perceived as hostile towards vampires and werewolves. The data about vampires are based on the work of the Department of Vampirology, which notoriously included Dr Zacharias Steiner.
