The Kingdom of Tildeland is an absolute monarchy founded in year 1 (CC). Although the King is formally an absolute monarch, the constitutional tradition of Tildeland, respected by all of its historical sovereigns, requires the monarch to make laws only in accordance with a qualified majority in the Council, comprising the nobility and landowners.
