Crown from the Torches
The Crown from the Torches is the official crown of the Archqueen of Sigisland and one of the main symbols of the Sigislandite nationhood. As such it is depicted on the Flag and the Coat of Arms of Sigisland. The Crown is always kept in the Coronation Cathedral in Kelenburg, and the ruler outside of it usually uses a smaller crown or a diadem.
The golden miter, a characteristic of this crown that symbolizes the assumed supremacy of the Archking over kings, is divided into four sections carved in gold which depict three historical events: the first Ferdinanding - at the place where the Coronation Cathedral was erected - the Battle of Ransburgh and the Elysin Congress. The fourth section of the miter has no picture on it, symbolizing the notion that each new Archking can surpass all his predecessors in deeds and that the Archkingdom can always welcome a day more glorious than all the previous ones in its history; it is said, however, that Ferdinand II intended, after the expected triumph of his Armada over the Guntrelandenite Revolution, to adorn the fourth section of the miter with a scene of the Armada crossing the Old Sea.
