Effects of injesting
Most non-magical poisonous mushrooms function in the following way:
When a creature without resistance to the poisoned condition ingests the mushroom, it must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or take 1 poison damage and become poisoned.
A poisoned creature must repeat the saving throw every 24 hours, taking 1 poison damage on a failed save. Until this poison ends, any damage dealt by the poison cannot be healed by any means.
The poison can be cured with a DC 14 Medicine check, made with advantage if the creature attempting the cure is proficient with a herbalism kit and uses it. A cure attempt can be made once every 12 hours.
Reduced effects.
A creature must swallow an entire mushroom to suffer its effects. You might decide that a partial dose has a reduced effect, such as allowing advantage on the saving throws or dealing only half damage on failed saves.
More significant effects.
A creature that swallow more than one entire mushroom suffers worse effects. You might decide that a higher dose has worse effects effect on the creature, such as disadvantage on the saving throws or dealing double damage on failed saves.
