Over the years Valamer has taken many accessories to cover what he perceived as weaknesses. When he moved to Elkus, He covered his ears to prevent people from realizing he was an Elf. When He became blinded, he wrapped Black bandages. When he was hobbled, broken in body, he covered himself in more clothing to distract the people away, to show that he was a symbol of hope.
Now, After his time had passed, he wears a black dress suit and trench coat. Keeping his masks and dapperness to keep appearances up.

Personal history
An elf that has spent countless years hunting and slaying the worst of fiends and countless monstrosities. He didn't just excel in his duty, he reveled in it. Detailing countless monsters he's found in his time defending Elkus from the wrath of the undead and monstrosities alike. Eventually, like all good times, his golden years passed. Every friend he had made, apprentice he had trained, either passed to time or beast, to him the difference became less and less. The reveling of combat eventually became anguish, hoping for the struggle to end. At the age of 300, he sought solace in the gods, looking for some answer.
He Found his answers with the Church of Galanthia. Despite being harsh, a braggart and cocky at the time, he was truly humbled by Galanthia herself. She came to him in multiple dreams, showing him the wonders of life and kinship. Slowly, he became more and more pious, once again finding fending off beasts and monsters, but now he found purpose in protecting those who could not protect himself.
This strong will carried him to Elkus, where he resided for many years defending and helping the people.
