Fedelmid

A gravely injured knight, stares down the monstrosity before him, readies his blade. He swore an oath to protect the helpless, and the people in his village certainly qualify. A sprite circles his head. His racing mind is set at ease. He remembers he’s not alone. Channeling the energy of their bond, the knight calls out an incantation and sets his sword ablaze. A scholar wanders a vast library. As he searches for the perfect tome, he wonders if one day any work of his will adorn the shelves of this monument to the knowledge of generations past. Eventually, he finds exactly what he is looking for: A History of the Draconic Peoples of Uclon. His knowledge will be ready for the incoming delegation.   Fedelmid is a world caught in the midst of a struggle between two fey factions: The Summer Court and the Winter Court. The fey of the Winter have a disdain for the human inhabitants of the world, and thus seek a way to destroy humanity and plunge the world into eternal winter. Conversely, the Summer Court lives harmoniously with humans and wishes to preserve the balance of the world as it is.
