Artisan's Guild
To join the Artisan's Guild, a perspective member must first attain three consecutive levels of a single class in the Adventurer's Guild. For example, a blacksmith may take three levels of Fighter, or an Alchemist may take three levels in Wizard. There are a total of eighteen artisan types one may take upon joining. Yes, Artificers must choose a specialty. They are as follows, broken down into two separate subtypes.
Crafting and Repair:
- Blacksmiths: Skilled in working with metal, forging weapons, armor, and tools.
- Armorers: Focus on crafting and repairing armor, ensuring protection for adventurers.
- Carpenters: Proficient in woodworking, crafting items like furniture, tools, and structures.
- Leatherworkers: Specialized in working with leather, creating items like boots, saddles, and armor.
- Weavers: Skilled in creating fabrics and clothing.
- Cobblers: Focus on crafting and repairing footwear.
- Potters: Create items from clay, such as pottery and ceramic decorations.
- Glassblowers: Work with glass, creating items like bottles, windows, and decorative pieces.
- Jewelers: Craft and repair jewelry, often working with precious metals and gems.
- Alchemists: Brew potions and concoctions, often using alchemist's supplies.
- Tinkers: Skilled in repairing mechanical devices and crafting small gadgets.
- Woodcarvers: Specialize in creating detailed wooden carvings and decorations.
- Cartographers: Create maps and navigation charts.
- Locksmiths: Legally unlocking doors and other locks.
Other Artisan Roles:
- Cooks: Prepare meals and often have knowledge of food preservation and preparation.
- Brewers: Create alcoholic beverages and often have knowledge of fermentation and brewing.
- Painters: Create artwork, often using painter's supplies.
- Calligraphers: Skilled in beautiful writing and document creation.
Upon choosing a specialty, the perspective guild member must prove they have at least 5 years, or equivalent skill level, in their chosen profession through a short test related to their choice.
