The Clinic
Upstairs:
Adventurers awaken in the upstairs of The Clinic, their memories hazy. It is dark and damp, only light source from a couple candles nearby.
All adventurers have a scar on a place of their choosing, sensitive to the touch, there's something arcane about it.
Adventurers have no possessions on them, except for a small syringe with blood in it and an amulet around their necks. (Perception 12)
On a passed perception check they notice the amulet has rich blood flowing inside, looking like it's moving, almost sentient.
Upon any use of magic they'll notice their spells fail, and will keep failing until they die or rest for the first time.
You never truly die in the clinic, you are reborn.
Downstairs:
Upon walking downstairs they'll hear a deep growl coming from the next room, as well as a sudden scream.
On a Perception 17 check they can notice the growl seems to flow into the scream.
Walking into the next room, they'll see a Young woman (23, Andrea, Werewolf) covered in blood with dead bodies all around her.
She's panicked and crying about a wild beast coming and slaughtering everyone and suddenly it ran away out the door suddenly. (Door is closed)
On a perception 15 check they notice there's blood around her mouth, upon questioning she'll get defensive saying blood splattered everywhere.
Insight checks to show she's lying. If they notice the blood around her mouth it's at advantage.
Upon being discovered her demeanor changes and she shifts into a beast. Roll Initiative.
(Combat)
Upon getting killed they are reborn again, suddenly they have their possessions, they don't exactly remember what happened but they know there's danger close.
