The Hunter's Quarry
The Hunter's Quarry started its life as any other ship would, construction was finished, it spent a few years sat in a showroom before being sold. The new owner a Qhukbati by the name Ti'or Hannir'ix purchasing the ship to opperate as his home. Over the years he developed a reputation as a bounty hunter and smuggler, turning his new cruiser into a flying fortress. Ti'or began working for the Star Sun Syndicate, a group of fellow bounty hunters and fighters in Boreal and quickly became their shipmaster, turning his fortress into the Hunter's Quarry, a place where hunters could find safe haven, pick up jobs and call home.
When Ti'or died he passed the ship onto his daughter, a girl who only knew hunting and smuggling, no other life; who saw the Hunter's Quarry and the people aboard it as family. Zo'rin was elected as the new head of the Syndicate after the former was killed by a group of bandits, ambushing him for revenge after they lost thier own leader. Zo'rin was well loved, and instituded reforms in the Syndicate, turning it into a legitmate guild for all Hunters, and quitely expanded their sumggling arm into Solar as well as Boreal.
Power Generation
The Qhukbati home planet of Nohivis is rich with underground viens of diamond like crystals. Carbon woven and interlayed with a unique element the Qhukbati call Eair'ko; the call this crystal Kil'rahan or Sparkstone in Fateborn. To the Qhukbati the discovery and refinement of Eair'ko could be equivilated to the discovery and refinement of crude oil in Humanities own history. The Sparkstone fuel is fed into the ships generators releasing electrical, or Fulgur, energy spinning servos and charing the batteries inside the vessels engine bays.
Propulsion
Unlike Human made space craft, with their crude, explosive chemical rockets, the Hunter's Quarry is a Qhukbati vessel. The Qhukbati having developed their own form of combustion and propulsion. The Quarry moves through space and atmosphere by tapping into the Ignis and Omebri energies of the universe. The energies refracting through a prism of mirrors and glass, bouncing and increasing in strength, utilising Ignis energy to create enough kinetic energy through the refraction to propel the vessel forward, and utilising Omebri energy to warp the gravitational and magnetic fields around the vessel to defy the pull in atmosphere and disperse debris in space.
