Dracoris Injector

Since Humanity came to Boreal and became introduced to the concept of Cosmic Magic they have rapidly attempted to adapt and evolve thier technology to equal or even surpase the prowess and strength other spieces in Boreal have with Magik. As such some extremely experimental technologies have had adverse effects on the people utilising the technology, known as Overload Syndrome.   Overload Syndrome is an effect on the body and mind, heightening and opening a persons whole being to the raw nature of the universe; something nearly all people struggle to contain. Overload Syndrome has 3 stages, Initial, Advanced and Terminal. Inital the body beings to develop excess abilities and connection to the Cosmic Magic, beyond what was expected - If someone utilises some experimental tech to gain psionic abilities like telekineis, Inital Overload Syndrome may grant them telepathy or fore sight. Advanced the body and mind being to fracture, small splinter like cracks form on the persons skin, emmiting light, and their mind beings to create hallucinations, exacerbate mental health issues and neurodivergency. Terminal, the body goes into complete shut down, organs begin failing and the mind becomes so scattered that all thoughts become incoherent.   The Dracoris Injector was created to combat this, inserting the injector into a pulse point on the body and flooding the persons bloodstream with Dracoris Nanites, microscopic robots containing Magik batteries. The batteries absorb the excess energy in the body before being slowly excreated through the persons sweat and bodily waste. The Dracoris must be injected into the blood stream before or immediately following Advanced symptoms to prevent long term side effects and transformation of a persons mind and body.
