Dawnforge Cathedral

The Dawnforge Cathedral is one of the most impressive structures in Pottersteel, with its towering spires and intricate stonework. The cathedral was built in honor of the god Temus, who was particularly revered by the dwarven inhabitants of the city for his association with the forge and the rising sun. Legend has it that the cathedral was constructed using a special type of stone, imbued with the power of the sun and the earth, which was said to make the building impervious to harm.   Over the centuries, the cathedral has served as a center of worship for the people of Pottersteel, as well as a gathering place for important events and ceremonies. Its soaring interior is decorated with beautiful murals and stained glass windows, depicting scenes from the history of the city and the deeds of the god Temus. The cathedral's bell tower houses a massive bell, which rings out across the city at important times, such as the beginning and end of the day.   Despite its status as a place of worship for the god Temus, the cathedral has always been open to all races and religions, reflecting the diverse nature of Pottersteel. Its minimal rising sun engraving on the side is a nod to the god's association with the sun, while also being understated enough to avoid any offense to other religious groups. The cathedral is a beloved and iconic symbol of Pottersteel, standing as a testament to the city's long and storied history.
