Camila Embrey also known as Red Cross started her career early and ended it early as well after a whirlwind romance with her partner Winged Hope (aka Willow Bourbeau). After Winged Hope's death, she came out of retirement with a vengeance for change within the system.

Personal history
Born to a family of those with minor Pyrokinesis abilities, Camila is an outlier and rather put off by the fact (considering healing powers aren't well suited to combat or more traditional superhero work...)
As soon as she was eligible to apply for SH work she did. Debuting as a teen with a popular women's hero agency. While at her first agency she faced challenges that dealt with her costume design and safety. After making a public comment during a live interview about how her costume was no better than a bathing suit she was traded to a different agency. At her new agency she worked solo for two years before being paired with Winged Hope, another hero that specialized in retrieval and disaster work. RC would spend the rest of her Pro years as a duo with Winged Hope until her retirement.
Retirement: RC retires at 28 after asking Winged Hope to do the same, deciding to focus on her relationship with WH and pursue other avenues outside of the hero industry. and became a registered Nurse. WH&RC get married and adopted Juniper (who also ended up in the Superhero field)
Post Retirement: After the death of Winged Hope, RC comes out of retirement, disillusioned and at odds with the heroics industry.
