Launched in 2098 CE the UNCV Far Horizons was dispatched towards the Tau Ceti system 12 light years distance from the Solar System.

The Far Horizon reached Tau Ceti system yet somehow instead of making a successful orbit around its target it ended up by means unknown somewhere completely different.

Now the colonists in cryogenic capsules and the other attendant systems have been deployed onto a world that was not the planned destination, yet the Far Horizon for the moment cannot journey any further. It remains in orbit around the new world of Farhome.
