Anti-Magic
Anti-Magic is a mysterious force in the The Fantasme that actively neutralizes Magic and Mana.
Manifestation
Anti-magic, like mana, is completely undetectable through normal senses like vision or hearing. Nor can it really be felt with soul sense either, rather it is felt as a sudden absence of mana, like a vacuum. It radiates through an area, completely neutralizing all magic in an area, making it impossible to cast spells.
Anti-magic can also be quite dangerous, as it effect the mana inside one's soul as well, and can lead to Mana Exhaustion. On the other hand, Anti-magic has been an effective tool for combating Mana Poisoning. Curses or blessing on a person or area can also be removed with Anti-magic.
Localization
Anti-magic is classified as a magic type in the field, but it can't be actively cast. Anti-magic is only ever a passive effect that can be found in some minerals, or some plants that use it as a defense mechanism. The Nojik Tree is known for it's anti-magic bark that leaves it completely immune to magic effects.
