Session 60: Forward March

Upon returning to the forward command base at Suffolk County Charter School Kenny and Sharos immediately broke off, with Barry disappearing as well. With Cecile still gone, Jason and Kutter had to command the assault alone.
They pushed in, taking a few casualties but gaining little advantage on their first few days of progress. They were, however, able to establish a beachhead and construct a FOB.

When it became clear their slow and cautious approach wasn't gaining them any advantage, Kutter and Jason opted to send in Kutter right to Mirkwater with a full assault force while Jason stayed behind and fortified the rear. However, things at the FOB didn't go well as the sniper tower Jason was constructing was struck by a 20mm round, likely courtesy of the elusive Echo. Jason went tumbling down to the ground, taking hearty damage.

Kutter arrived in Mirkwater to find it in a sorry state, with few fighting men left, almost no minutemen left alive, and 300 evacuees desperate for aid.
