Ituzith the Silent

Ituzith the Silent was a Tiefling child left on a mages door stop as a child. She never really had any parental figured but was raised by all the magi at the College of Arcane arts. At first she was just a servant used to clean and aid wizards and sorcerers in their research. However Ithuzith was watch, and learned. She quickly learned how to do cast cantrips and low level. She taught herself to read and write. One day when she was using mage hand to clean a lab. She was looking over spells notes of master wizard. He caught her look at his notes and asked her what she was doing. She said nothing but as she walked away she told him what he was missing from his formula. Later the night the master wizard tracked her down and took her under his wing. She never spoke unless she had to, but her spell work was impressive. and fair suppressed the ability of any other wizard. However she would hit the wall that most masters did during the first age of mortals. The magic weave was torn and because of most magic essence was cut off from the material plane. However doing show created massive amounts of Rune Crystals across material plane. Ithuzith believe these are the physical manifestation of magic. However the pretty jem like crystals where harmless. Well until a kobold blew his arm off in a alchemical mixture. She figured the magical energy has to be stored somewhere. She believe that it can not come from nothing and unless it transformed that energy can't go away. Most of the magical community laugh at her and called her mad, she left the stuffy college and theory to find the real reason.   Ithuzith join a group of adventures calling themselves The Rejected Vanguards. They where a silly group of adventures but it was with them she would gain her greatest clue. There was a chest with a magical trap on it. The recovering theft as the group called him could not open or disable the trap. Ithuzith would use transference magic to pull the magical essence and put it in a coin. Disabling the trap once the chest was open she study how the trap was made. During the Age of Dragons high magic used rune plates to cast delayed spells when certain effects would happen. After 6 years of advanutring she collected many of these old rune plates and deciphered what spells they casted. She theoried she could use the rune plates to take power from Rune stones. She created her own rune stone with the transfer spell enchanted on to it along with a simple cantrip spell for shocking touch. This cased a thin piece a metal to qoil in really right when the plate tough the crystal. When touching the coil she felt a shock. The crystal was powering the rune plate and the magical runes on the plate. Tinkering for a bit made a clock. When the coil tighten it pulled the plate ways from the crystal and as it un could it turned a gear. After 60 seconds the plate would make contact and the cycle would start again. The rune clock and it connection would be the base fundamental design to all Arcane Mechanika.

Historian are debate over the years about her silence. Other figured it had to deal with trauma of being abandoned and not fitting in at the College of Arcane Arts. Others believe she just felt that there was nothing to say. However both side agree she was very much introvert and preferred to be alone.
