Golden Goose

  The Golden Goose is a large old three story townhouse in West Covina along the waterfront looking over the wide river. The Golden Goose share wall on it flanks with other business unlike the other building with the white stone having a gray fade of grime, The owners scrub and clear the outer walls to keep it white making it stand out. Above the door is a well painted Gold Goose and a two large oak door below it.   Inside the the main walls have white peeling plaster showing a cream color below it and exposed dark wood beams. The walls have painting of famous events and works done by local artist. The Bar and table are polish wood red wood. Giving it a splash red color. With several dark wood folding walls to match the exposed wood beam. These walls help create private section from the main area but can be folded away to make room for big acts. In the center of the main floor is a large round stage where band and bards can play music, tell stories, sing there never a shortage of bard wanting to take a chance on the stage.   Patrons tend to be skilled workers, military officers, and performance goes, wanting to enjoy nice music and decent food and tip well.   The second story is for lodging.   The third story is the private residence of owner and his family.

Performances

  Unless your called by the owner to create a custom show, typically bards are not paid for their performances. However any tips collect at the stage or bar during your time on the stage are your to keep. Sign up is as easy as talking to who ever working the bar put you on schedule for the next opening. It a first come first servers situation so it create a bit of competition between the bards getting there first, because of this it create fantastic bardic rivilery which the drama and performances always drawing a crowd. Regardless if your head lining or random bard, there good deal of money to be earned.

Lodging

  The Second Story is dedicated to lodging . There is a dozen small private room for one person, These room are simple and have a nice bed and clean sheet and blankets. There is a common room where there are rows of wood bunks stack 3 high creating 24 beds and a simple shared washroom.   Prices per night

Food and Drink

The Food at the Golden Goose is simple but very tasty. Typical meal here are anywhere between 5 sp-1pg and drink are no more then 3gp.   Menu Specials are  

• Curry Pumpkin Sauce over duck and basil infused rice.
• Roasted Goose with Carrots spice with clove and side of corn muffins.
• Ginger pigeon Stew with Fresh Wild Mushroom and slice of black bread and butter.
