The People of Chrysis

Opening credits style imagery: the camera turns a new corner after every person, but doesn't actually change angle, you know how it is. It's a map thing but on people.   Anyhow, Zydeco_Blue leaning back in an office chair, hands behind his head and a toothpick in his teeth.   Next to him is the Director, grinning wide and confident. Defiantly is what she is. Palms on the table top, leaning forward like she's about to confide a secret and her teeth are so white and shining.   On her other side, Tristan Tantara, very definitely her sidekick and cheerleader, acting like it. There's something in his eyes or shadow that suggests he's a lot more than he appears.   Next to him is Lydia Seldom, looking primly at the rolling camera with a hidden smile. Her hands are folding paper. There's a somebody badly out of focus leaning against the wall behind her.   Corentin is sitting on the back of his chair, one foot on the table, looking tough and surly. He's got one hand on the head of a teenage girl sharing the chair with his other boot. Her head is tilted just enough to suggest he's been scratching her head enjoyably. Other than that, she isn't smiling. This is Nikita Vivo   The camera jerks up and around, going back to the person behind Lydia. It's the Director's big brother, Riyu Taithys. He's not at the table, but he's keeping an eye on things. Some things more than others.   The camera pulls out and John Silas leaps into the scene, sliding down the table in every imaginable way, and very smug about it. It's obnoxious, and everybody reacts badly to it: Lydia pouring her drink on him, Corentin kicking him off the table, etc. The only person who doesn't is Nikita. Nikita bumps her head against his leg before laying her head on the table and smiling up at the camera.
