The Missing Step on Ikon

So the thing nobody puts in the guidebooks is that the unicorn Ikon is a serial psychic sex offender. Like, nobody official is willing to describe him that way, because they hate acknowledging shit they can't do anything about, but also they've got an on-call team dedicated to prompt treatment of psychic damage he's inflicted on his partners. Trust me, I know.   That said, he's not a predator any more than the other unicorns (except Midnight) are. The vast majority of his victims are people who willingly approached him and willingly made physical contact. At that point, if he finds them attractive, he initiates 'forced intimate psychic bonding' which is just a pretty way of saying 'mind rape'.   I don't think he's intentionally causing damage. But he also doesn't seem to care or even recognize that human minds aren't equipped to handle his intrusion, and it's impossible to stop him before he's done. And the experience is inevitably sexually tinged in those minds, even though I'm not sure it's sexual for him. Does that concept even apply to unicorns? Only he can answer that.   But unlike the others, I've never heard him speak. I'm half-convinced he can't even understand language. Being around him can be disorienting and dreamlike, in a way that makes words seem... irrelevant. It makes it hard to escape him even if you realize what's going on and want to reject it. The sensation of him pouring into your secret places, moving along your hidden passages, is so exquisite it blurs the boundary between pain and pleasure... but when you wake up later, everything hurts, and not in a fun way. There's a hole in your mind where your thoughts keep slipping away, and your body reacts differently, and your dreams change permanently despite the therapy and drugs, even if you get the rest of your life back together...   This will happen to you if you go to him, and you're young or repressed, and you bring a bottle of something alcoholic as a gift. It may even happen if only one of those is true, so please... choose safety and simply keep your distance. If you make a mistake, at least seek help from Safety and Security. And if you follow the rules, you keep your distance, and he becomes interested in you anyhow, you seek help in Iroval Grove or atop Watercrown before disaster strikes.
