Sky Fairy

Sky Fairies are beings who dwell high above, whether that's among the tallest trees or up in the clouds. Their lifestyle mirrors their elevated surroundings, for they are often air-headed, going wherever the wind takes them. So high up, sky fairies are a bit out of touch with the world below, often only venturing down to locations with the most acclaim. This tends to result in them coming off a bit spoiled.

Free spirits like Sky Fairies are often characterized by swiftness, freedom, cleverness, and just like the weather, unpredictability. Their bird's-eye view brings inspiration, revelation, and new perspectives to those below. These fairies often serve as messengers, newscasters, postmen, or even writers of the papers that they deliver through the clouds.

With such a high-flying lifestyle, it's easy for Sky Fairies to be out of touch with the rest of Faetalia. They truly tend to be the least grounded. They may not understand some of the issues that other fairies face, quick to chirp things along the lines of "Oh, just let it go! It's easy! Why would that bother you?" They are certainly ditzy... one could also say air-headed.

Similar to the altitude they reside in, Sky Fairies have a high-class attitude. They are conscious of their image and presentation, sometimes even pompous. They value beauty and material things. Sky Fairies will certainly make sure they, and you, look good before anything else.

Physical Traits

While you are free to be creative when making your characters, there are some traits which are often found within Sky Fairies. These are not rules so much as guidelines. Take your pick!

Common Traits:

• Cloud hair
• Starry freckles

Uncommon Traits:

• Appearance shifting with Emotion (must have cloud hair + see IMG)
• Bird-like/feathered wings

Rare Traits:

• Feathers on body
• Feathered ears

Powers

Each fairy gets an Inherited Power that they are born with. A fairy will then do their best to master their abilities within that power set and eventually develop Talents. Inherited Powers naturally start off weak, and becoming stronger in one's abilities comes with the discovery of one's talent.

Inherited Powers

1. Wind/Air Magic – The ability to wield, control, and conjure the winds and air that flows through all of Faetalia.
2. Celestial Magic – This magic focuses on the sky's days or its nights. Clouds, stars, clear blue skies, or the dark of night.
3. Winged Animal Communication – The ability to communicate with winged animals like birds.

You may only select one Inherited Power, and it must be one of these three. You are able to be more creative with talents, which will stem from the Inherited Power.

Talents

Each talent stems from the fairy's Inherited Power, and vary in rarity, with some talents harder to accomplish than others.

There is plenty of room for creativity when it comes to talents! As long as it in some way relates to the inherited power, and isn't too overpowered, we are excited to see what you come up with!

However, there will also be a level lock when it comes to coming up with your own talents. You must reach level 5 within the server for your fairy to acquire the talent, but you can still put on your doc that they are aspiring for a specific talent that isn't listed here!
